The Wisely Brothers formed while high school teens in 2010. The Tokyo-based alternative/indie-pop trio have firmly established themselves as one of the most exciting acts on the Japanese indie scene.

Their sound is one of 90s tinged nostalgia, awash with jangly guitar riffs, expansive melancholic melodies, and beautiful vocal harmonies.

Tin Foil Astronaut; the vehicle for Margate based producer and multi-instrumentalist Max Taylor’s whims and obsessions, “gives us a glimpse of what it might be like to enter the cosmos, but only in the ho-hum imagination of the everyday man” (Rob Hakimian, 405). 

Resplendent guitars and otherworldly synth textures, combine with introspective and melancholy tinged lyricism to evoke daydreams of far away places and a desire to escape the pressures of modern life.
