PUNK ROCK ROYALTY

The Ides of Sedition are a band formed by two thoroughbred pedigrees when it comes to British Punk Rock from 1977.

Original members of the seminal band Chelsea, Chris Bashford and Jeff Piccinni (aka Geoff Myles) have joined up with drummer Joe Pullinger (Action Pact) and Caralinda Booth (Shakespears Sister/Thompson Twins) on keyboards.

To many fans, musicians and music historians, Chelsea are considered to be equally as influential as the Clash and The Sex Pistols. The Ides of Sedition will perform classic songs from the debut 1979 album “Chelsea”, along with singles from the “Alternative Hits” album – punk rock anthems bristling with melodies and underpinned with an energy that as important now as it ever was.

The evening will start with a short film about the origins of the band, and about the first Chelsea line up featuring Billy Idol on guitar, and Tony James.

The host for the evening will be Gwen Ever of Radio Deal who will conduct a Q&A with Jeff and Chris.

The band will then take to the Stage to perform the debut Chelsea album for the first time in over 40 years!
