Evie Waddell is a singer and step dancer from Stirlingshire whose work explores the nuances of Gaelic and Scots song through music, movement, and British Sign Language (BSL). With a background in theatre and contemporary dance, she brings a distinctive physicality to her performances. Evie is a winner of the Danny Kyle Open Stage 2023 and a finalist in the BBC Young Traditional Musician 2024. In 2024 she released her visual EP Cluich!, and in 2026 she directed and toured Ivory Cutlery, a tribute to Ivor Cutler, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This evening, Evie is joined by Lachie Robinson on concertina and guitar.
