Welcome to ‘Glow In The Dark’.

Eight nights of original music from across Kent – bringing together established artists and emerging under-30 talent to celebrate grassroots innovation.

YESTERDAY’S FLOWERS

Formed by longtime collaborators and husband and wife, Lucy and Tom Atkins, Yesterday’s Flowers craft dreamy rock that basks in the golden glow of the early 60s California Sound – via their seaside home of Folkestone on the English Channel.

With shimmers of ethereal psychedelia, it’s a sound that’s filled with nostalgic chords, swelling organ and sun-drenched melodies. Yet beneath the gloss lies a quiet grit, with Lucy’s voice deftly weaving between sweetness and snarl, as Tom’s guitar unfurls mesmeric, reverb-heavy soundscapes.

FINE LIME

Fine Lime are a high energy, funk rock four-piece, blending a mix of groovy verses, heavy choruses, and psychedelic interludes.

Fine Lime are fast becoming a band to watch, selling out shows across Kent, winning The Ship, Gillingham Battle of the Bands, and making their European festival debut at Under the Milky Way in the Netherlands.

Described as a ‘party from start to finish’, Fine Lime’s irresistible grooves are sure to get you moving.
