Brighton based Indie Folk artist Michael Baker’s music has been compared to the likes of The Villagers, Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver.
‘Freak’ Michael’s 5th studio album has been produced by Wolfgang Gottlieb (Daniel Johnston) at Lotte Lindenberg in Frankfurt.
Michael is fresh back from performing at Glastonbury this year, following on from his 2023 The Official Great Escape performance & 3 shows at Glastonbury in 2023. Michael Baker follows up his multiple Spotify and Apple Music Editorial supported 4th Studio Album ‘Keep Hydrated’, which was recorded at the legendary Wool Hall Studios (Van Morrison, Tears For Fears) by Luke Potashnick (Gabrielle Aplin, Alberta Cross) co -produced by Michael, Andrew Stuart-Buttle (Lucy Rose, The Staves) & mixed by Oli Baldwin (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, Dry Cleaning).
