The Bug Club

The Bug Club are a tight-knit, collaborative effort focussed on telling tales of the everyday that we often take for granted, shot through with humour & riffs-a-plenty.

The Bug Club have today announced the latest single from their forthcoming double album, Rare Birds: Hour of Song. ‘We Can’t All Play Saxophones’ comes hot in the heels of the BBC 6 Music play-listed ‘Marriage’, and offers a gentler side to the band. Albeit a gentler side that’s all too eager to remind us all of our musical inadequacies. Fortunately, the band don’t seem to have any such inadequacies of their own, and this single sets the tone for an upcoming album packed with memorable Bug Club nuggets.

My Fat Pony

Made up of vocalist/guitarist Felix Knox, trumpeter Kate Walker, bassist Scott Kibblewhite and drummer Max Silvey, the South-East London based band My Fat Pony take influence from the likes of Guided By VoicesNeutral Milk Hotel and The Go! Team, weaving together melodic guitar, bouncing trumpet, intricate bass, and relentless drums.
