THE FAR FIELD

For band mates Nicola Tee, Adam McVey, Cameron Sheppard, Dan Lucas & Nathan Cooke, the sprawling fields of Kent offer the backdrop which has inspired the bands emotive & cinematic indie aura.

Taking influences from post-rock, post-punk and 90s emo, The Far Field have been described as a cross between Band Of Horses and The Appleseed Cast, but with beautiful Alvvays inspired female vocals.

Following release of their self-titled debut EP in November 2024, their new single ‘Lake of the Woods’ continues their sonic development and explores further themes of escapism and having the confidence to start over again. More gigs will be on the horizon for 2026, enveloping audiences with their massive sound.

BLACKHOUSE HILL

Heart-on-sleeve grit, swagger and beautifully scruffy ambition.

Made up by Sam, Rick, Beau and Joe, Blackhouse Hill have been together for almost a year, forming in Spring 2025, after meeting through their course and discovering a shared taste in music. What started as a group of students playing together quickly turned into something more focused.

Alongside playing live, the band have been working on original music. They recently released their debut single, ‘Pale Green’, marking an exciting first step into sharing their sound more widely.
