Dowsing is an ancient practice traditionally associated with searching for water, minerals and hidden objects, but for Stuart it has also become a way of exploring our connection with the natural world.
Drawing on his own experiences, he’ll introduce the history and traditions of dowsing, explain some of its different uses and demonstrate how it is practised.
The evening continues with The Tindal String Band, performing jigs, reels and Old English folk music.
The Old Ways is a celebration of the life, thoughts, traditions and ideas that can sometimes become lost in the modern world. Please come and join us for an evening of conversation, demonstration and music.
