We want everyone to feel welcome at The Lighthouse. We hope this page of the website addresses some of the more commonly requested information.

Tickets to events are non-refundable, unless:

  • The show is cancelled, or

  • The show is rescheduled, and you cannot attend the new date.

If a show is cancelled or rescheduled, ticket buyers will be contacted via the email address used at the time of booking.

Please note that in any refund situation, the £1.50 booking fee cannot be refunded. We keep booking fees as low as possible — they cover the transaction costs charged by our card processing provider, and are not retained by the venue.

There’s a small step from the pavement up to our front porch. A portable ramp is available for wheelchair users or anyone who needs it — just let us know in advance or on arrival, and our team will be happy to assist.

Our front revolving doors can be folded back to create a wide, fully accessible entrance. Once inside, the performance space, bar, and toilets are all on the ground floor with step-free access.

When you arrive, our team will be happy to assist with access, seating, or anything else you need. We recommend arriving a little early so we can get you settled before doors open.

We host a mix of seated and standing shows, and each event listing on our website notes whether it’s seated, standing, or a mix of both.

If you need a seat due to a disability, access requirement, or health condition, please let us know when booking and we’ll reserve one for you. Seating is usually positioned to the sides or towards the back to maintain clear walkways. Please note these unfortunately often have a restricted view during standing shows.

All of our toilets are located on the ground floor and are step-free. However, they are not currently fully accessible or fitted as disabled toilets.

If you need a carer or personal assistant to attend with you, we offer one free companion ticket.

We may ask for a bit of proof, such as:

  • An Access Card with a “+1” symbol

  • DLA, PIP, or Attendance Allowance documentation

To arrange this, please email info@thelighthousedeal.co.uk before booking and we’ll sort your tickets and any other access arrangements.

We’re always learning and want The Lighthouse to be as inclusive, comfortable, and welcoming as possible.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, please email info@thelighthousedeal.co.uk
