“A classy set of self penned blues-rockers complete with some tasty soloing” – RnR Magazine

“an album that oozes class…if it were a drink it would be a Bailey’s Irish Cream..the Lion is a mature Cat, he knows what he is about.”PowerPlay Rock and Metal Magazine

‘’Fine cross genre, song driven album by a visionary guitarist’’Pete Feenstra

Songs from Richard’s critically acclaimed album Lion, embracing blues, rock and jazz with intelligent, uplifting songwriting at its core. Richard has been compared to guitarists as wide-ranging as Peter Green, Eric Johnson and Wes Montgomery, with a voice that echoes Nick Drake and Jackson Browne. With Lion, Richard’s songwriting is “full of the longing and pathos of the blues; songs that mirror the human condition with music that fuses rock aggression, jazz sensibilities, beautiful sounds and sheer musical invention.”

Richard Rozze — electric and acoustic guitarist, vocalist, composer and arranger — is a master of many genres. The British musician studied for his Masters in Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

With Steve Bridgland (bass) and Wez Johnson (drums).
