Pub open from 12pm – Live music from 6pm

Join us for the ‘Sunday Service’ session featuring The Kimberleys with Chan Reid.

Isobel and Jim Kimberley have developed a sound which is both true to the tradition and refreshingly original. They take great folk anthems and approach them with a fresh and vital ear that equals the folk revival icons of the 60’s.

Their debut album, The Kimberleys, was voted into the top 10 Folk Albums of 2018 by ShireFolk and the People’s Choice award on the Sky Roots music channel.

They have recorded with folk icons Gordon Giltrap, Andy Cutting (Leveret, Blowzabella) Cathy Lesurf (Fiddlers Dram) and Dave Swarbrick.

Chan Reid is an Irish singer and fiddle player from Dublin now living in Hastings. She established the Hastings Fleadh and the Hastings Folk Choir and her duo Bold Riley plays regularly on the UK folk scene.

Over the years, these three musicians have made music together at informal sessions and festivals. This is a rare opportunity to hear them and the magic of their stunning vocal harmonies in a concert setting.
