It’s gonna be big, brassy, hot & heady N’awlins grooves from the off.

The Native Oysters Band. Traditional second-line classics, through to full on 70’s funk; all given the horn-heavy Delta city treatment, Whitstable style.

This sextet of experienced musicians will be “funkin’ it up New Orleans style” with original songs, swinging calypsos and Mardi Gras inspired grooves. Saxophone player Ivan Thompson and trumpeter David Migden, who both share lead vocal duties, lead this exciting horn band.

The group never fails to bring some sunshine with them and they have become real Lighthouse favourites.
